Florence Design Week in Italy was founded in 2010. It is a cultural exchange project supported by the Italian state. It represents the diversity and creativity of Italian design and has won a medal from the Italian Ministry of Culture. Since its establishment, Design Week has successfully held 35 major events, 40 public projects and over 60 exhibitions. The Design Week is not only a feast for designers, design organizations and design enthusiasts all over the world, but also an international design exchange platform to show the cultural and commercial cooperation of various countries. Through the series of activities of "cross-border international exhibition" and "business-to-business characteristic forum", it shows the diversity and foresight of design to time through different visual experiences.

More than 300 top designers, design agencies and business leaders from various countries attended the opening ceremony.
